Doctrine

We believe in the historic Christian faith, reflected in these statements:

About God:

Our loving, creator God exists as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, yet they are one. He passionately loves us and continually invites us into a relationship with Him.

About Jesus Christ:

He is God's expression of Himself to us as a sinless human who lived, died and resurrected.

About the Holy Spirit:

He was sent from God to live inside all who believe in Jesus Christ. The Spirit guides, comforts, and empowers us.

About the Bible:

It is the inspired Word of God perfect and final in its authority for faith and life. It is our standard in all we say and do.

About Salvation:

Failing to live by God's moral standards has broken man's relationship with God, but through believing in Jesus Christ He is able to rescue us from the consequences of that brokenness and restore our relationship with Him and others.

About the Ordinances of the Church:

We believe there are two ordinances of the local church; baptism and the Lord's Supper.
