Board of Directors

The board of directors consists of Stephen Hammond, Joe Centineo, Vern Hargrave and Wayne Hay.

Vern Hargrave

Verne is a Certified Public Accountant practicing in Arlington, Texas. He concentrates on the area of not-for-profit organizations, principally churches and Christian ministries. As his firm's partner in charge of churches and ministries he oversees and conducts numerous church audits and consulting engagements and supervises the church accounting department of PSK. Verne is a national member of the National Association of Church Business Administration, and is a frequent speaker at various church and ministry related seminars.

Through both his professional work and his service to his home church, Verne has been involved in various types of ministries and has a heart for missions and church planting. In addition to consulting with church and ministry start-ups Verne served for eight years as a bi-vocational minister with a small congregation in the economically challenged neighborhoods of East Arlington

Wayne Hay

Wayne is a Medical Doctor that works in the field of Urology. He is very successful in his career, and has held numerous positions and had numerous accomplishments in the medical field, far too many to mention. He is 57 years old, and is married to Paula. He has 6 children, all of whom look up to their dad. His hobbies include collecting/refurbishing old cars, Frisbee golf, and running.

Wayne is an entrepreneur, and has great understanding of what it takes to succeed in the business world. He has a strong commitment to Christ, and desires to see God’s kingdom expand. He believes that church planting is strategic to reaching people and to keeping the church relevant in our ever changing society. He loves when people step out and pursue their dreams, particularly when it involves the work of the Kingdom. Wayne greatly admires and personally encourages those that take this type of step. He is an invaluable member of Square One.
